YOUR BUDDIES can LOCATE YOU. Semper Fidelis Loyde P. Snake Arender served in Vietnam from December 1968 until March
1970 as an 0331: machine gunner / infantry. From 28 December 1968 until on
or about 10 January 1969, Arender served at Namo Bridge with Bravo
Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment (Bravo 1/26). On 10 January
1969, he was transferred to the 9th Marine Amphibious Brigade (9th MAB) as
part of Special Landing Force - Bravo (SLF-Bravo) and was assigned to Kilo
Company, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment (Kilo 3/26). Loyde remained a
member of Kilo 3/26 until about 20 March 1970, when he came home aboard
